Dan's Week 12 Picks

GREEN BAY @ Detroit

Well, when I began making my picks, this game was nearly over. To be fair, I technically can’t pick this game – but to be serious, of course I was picking the Pack. Detroit is only going to win games on pass inference hail maries with time running out on bad teams. Very bad teams.

Oakland @ DALLAS

Oakland did beat the Bengals last week, by scoring 10 points in the last 30 seconds. Lucky? Talented? Doesn’t matter, the Cowboys win on Thanksgiving at home.

New York Giants @ DENVER

I initially wanted to pick the Giants, but I don’t think the ‘wheels came off’ the Broncos like everyone is saying. A few weeks ago they were a ‘team to watch’. I think they are solid, especially against the hurt G-Men at home.

MIAMI @ Buffalo

God, what a terrible team.

Seattle @ ST. LOUIS

Mmmmm you can find me in St. Louie
Where the gun play ring all day

Some got jobs, like the Rams, who will win in a close one. Gotta love the bottom dwellers duking it out.

Indianapolis @ HOUSTON

Yes. I am picking the Texans over the Colts. Again. The Texans had the Colts in their sights the last game – but like clockwork, their kicker fudged a game-tying kick with time running out. Is this an upset pick? Obviously. Am I wrong? Most likely. But the Texans proved they could play the Colts tight, and I like their odds at home.

Cleveland @ CINNCINATI

The Bengals lost to a bad organization last week – they will not continue the bad trend. Cincinnati by two scores.

Carolina @ NEW YORK JETS

I like Rex Ryan’s defense against Jake the Snake. But expect a very fun, very close game.

Tampa Bay @ ATLANTA

Tampa Bay is just a bad, bad team. Atlanta, on the other hand, is much more complete. Everyone knows this. Atlanta by a lot.

washington @ PHILLY

Not only did I not capitalize the w in Washington, I also am attending this game. The Redskins do have a good D, but noooothing going for them on offense. A good D can only keep the game close for so long. The Iggles take this one (I could see it being closer than we’d all like, though).

Kansas City @ SAN DIEGO

No, I do not think the Chiefs beating the Steelers means much in the grand scheme of things.

JACKSONVILLE @ San Francisco

Ok, I really have to get going, time to eat turkey. But I do like the Jaguars as of late, and think they will beat the offense-less 49ers.

Chicago @ MINNESOTA

The Bears are not a complete team, and the Vikes are. Simple math. Look for a close one.

Arizona @ TENNESSE

Vince Young options to Chris Johnson? Heck yes I like their odds.

NEW ENGLAND @ New Orleans

The mother of all games. Brady. Breese. Both teams have ‘New’ as a prefix to their names. One undefeated. The other dynastic.

New England over powers the currently undefeated Saints.
