Dan's Week 8 Picks:
*Winning team in caps. And yes, we should do our picks in regards to the spread. Much more fun.

Washington v. ATLANTA
-Well, DUH! Jim Zorn + A guy who was just calling bingo numbers as the 'offensive consultant' = Loss

ARIZONA v. Chicago
-Both at 4-3, the Bears and Cards present an interesting mid-season match-up. That being said, my last sentence had not 1, not 2, but 3 hyphenated phrases. Cards by more than a touchdown.


BALTIMORE v. Cincinnati
-This will be a tight game, but the Ravens will shut down the Bengal's offense.

HOUSTON v. Indianapolis
-Ed not only did you spell Peyton wrong, but you cited Kim Cattrall on a football blog. On that note, I have to pick the Texans to counter-balance your negative chi to this website.

Miami v. NEW ENGLAND
-Look for a fun one, but New England has the 'wild' Miami offense on lock-down.

GREEN BAY v. Tampa Bay
-Green Bay will not lose the Bucs. Not this week.

Kansas City v. JACKSONVILLE
-MJD may be the only reason to watch this game.


Detroit v. SEATTLE
-MLS Capital of US: Seattle:: Unemployment Capital of US: Detroit

OUCH. You want some ice for that burn, Detroit? Seattle wins.

Carolina v. NEW ORLEANS
-The Saints are undefeated. The Saints stay undefeated.

San Diego v. NEW YORK
-I'd love to see the GMEN drop another game, but I can't imagine it.

TENNESSEE v. San Fran
-I disagree that Jeff Fisher is a bad head coach. Wait, do I? (I sense a point - counterpoint post entirely) Either way, I'll pick the Titans just 'cause I'd like to see Vince Young run up and down on the 49ers. I hope he's wearing his blue-diamond earrings.

Dallas v. PHILADELPHIA
-This is going to be a barn-burner. I can't wait. Go birds. I'll go ahead an predict a 35-27 Eagles victory.

PITTSBURGH v. Denver
-Hmmm. I sense yet another point - counterpoint blog post regarding NFL coaches. I'm having a hard time making this pick, but my wisdom says the Stillers.
